Apple retail prices in Romania.
Well, it had to happen sooner or later. Apple still doesn’t have their own stores and geniuses in Romania, but the competition between Istyle and I.R.I.S., the 2 Apple resellers in Romania, has made the price go down. Orange, which has recently announced they will offer Iphones in Romania, has already started selling MBAs for business clients. Orange is offering them at a price equivalent to the EU standard price plus an additional 50 Euros, which is great.
On the other hand, the 2 resellers mentioned above now have promotional offers for macbooks and alike, with prices approximately 10% bigger than EU standard price, compared to 25 to 30% bigger as they were 6 months ago.

din cate stiu, nu exista competitie intre iStyle si IRIS. IRIS e un fel de reprezentanta Apple. toate produsele apple vin prin IRIS. iStyle, noumax si altii, le iau de la IRIS.
English translation:
As far as I know, there is no competition between Istyle and IRIS. IRIS is some sort of Apple subsidiary. All Apple products come in the country through IRIS. Istyle, Noumax and others buy from IRIS.

Even if Istyle buys from IRIS, everything stops here. They are competitors as both IRIS and Istyle sell to end customers, which is you, me and many others.
